About Us

        Education field has seen an enormous change in past few decades. There is a massive shift from traditional courses to modern day ‘requirement oriented’ education. Dynamics of new age education requires a global outlook and sharing of knowledge between continents and countries. This has led to vast changes in the way education is delivered or to say how it reached the aspirants. Emergence of soft skills requirements in building next generation leaders is one of the emphasis in present day education. Mushrooming of various players in education field had its advantages and problems. This is why a guide is required who can reach out to various stakeholders in this segment, and its the reason we are here.

        Promoters of SEG, put together has 20 years of experience in various field of education, largely based in Dubai. Both are Certified Management Accountants from The Institute of Certified Management Accountants, Australia and also holds Post graduate degrees in commerce and management studies. With hands on experience and understanding of the emerging educational field they are very well equipped in addressing various issues pertaining to this sector.

Management Team

        Post graduate in Business administration, Certified Global Business Analyst and also a Certified Management Accountant from ICMA, Australia has vast experience in educational and IT sectors. Started career as process executive in CISCO systems, later rose to Senior Manager – Academic operations with Wisdom Education Group based in Dubai, managing its operations in U.A.E, Oman, UK and India. Currently Mr. Ahamad holds the position of Regional Director of ICMA Australia – UAE & GCC Countries. Being a program manager he has successfully conducted various academic programs of globally renowned professional bodies like Institute of Certified Management Accountants-Australia, Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport-UK, Confederation of Tourism & Hospitality-UK, University of Petroleum and Energy Studies-India etc. He was also the Academic Director of Al Hikma Educational Institute, Sharjah. As a senior manager he actively involves in organization’s global operations, budgeting and profit growth planning. His other interest includes, information technology, counselling for students, planning & budgeting, strategic decision making, conducting international educational fairs and seminars etc.

         A Post graduate in Finance, Certified Global Business Analyst and also a Certified Management Accountant from ICMA, Australia has vast experience in education and training sector. Started career as a junior teacher in a private college at Kerala but realizing the need for further growth and exposure in his field of interest, moved to Dubai as Assistant manager in purchases for Dubai library distributors. Later joined as Academic coordinator and rose to Lecturer at Wisdom Business School FZE, RAK, UAE, in the dept. of Commerce and Business Administration. He is also a visiting faculty in Institute of Management Technology (IMT), DIAC, Dubai, and has also been a guide for various projects for MBA and B.com students. Though academically oriented he is also interested in mentoring, strategic cost management, intellectual capital management and financial performance, investment and entrepreneurship. He believes in constant improvement and continual education is his area of interest. Presently pursuing for Ph.D in specialized Accounting. He also functions as Deputy Regional Director of ICMA Australia – UAE & GCC countries.

Advisory Board

        Professor Ratnatunga is the CEO of ICMA Australia. Formerly, Dean of Commerce at the University of South Australia. Previously he was the Chair in Business Accounting at Monash University, a position he held for eighteen years. Prior to Monash, he held academic positions at the University of Melbourne and the University of Canberra in Australia, and visiting positions at the Universities of Washington, Richmond and Rhode Island in the USA. His PhD is from the University of Bradford in the UK.

        Dr. Wan Fadzilah Wan Yusoff is currently a Professor and founding Dean of the Graduate School of Management, Multimedia University (MMU) Malaysia. Prior to that, she was Dean of the Faculty of Management. Those positions enabled her to be very actively involved in academic management, internationalization initiatives and university-industry engagement. She graduated with a PhD degree from University Sains Malaysia where her doctoral research was honoured with the best thesis award. Her first foray into the academia was in 1998 when she joined Universiti Tenaga Nasional (Uniten) after 17 years in the finance and banking industry holding various managerial positions. Such experiences has enabled Professor Wan Fadzilah to establish and maintain a close link with the industry.

        Dr Anupam Mehta is a skilled Professional with experience of more than 14 years in Teaching and research. She is currently working as Assistant Professor in Institute of Management Technology (Business School), Dubai. She has delivered excellent education both at undergraduate and postgraduate level. She is a committed and dedicated professional with a proven ability to teach, motivate and direct students to maximize performance by encouraging a positive and energetic environment.

        Mr. Ferry is the CEO of Wisdom Education Group, UAE, Oman, UK and India. Having vast years of experience in the field of education and training he has contributed in large scale to the education industry. He started his career as faculty of commerce and business at a private college in Kerala. He then moved to UAE as the Accounts Manager for a reputed Oil & Gas services company. From there he took over the Wisdom Educational Institute in Dubai and with his vision and tireless efforts grew this institution into a multi-faceted educational group. The group currently represents Indira Gandhi National Open University, Madurai Kamaraj University, Sikkim Manipal University, University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, University of Calicut in the UAE and Oman.

        Mr. Borg has been involved in training activities since 1994, where he was entrusted by the Employment and Training Corporation (E.T.C.), the National Government Body in Malta for Employment and Training to deliver innovative professional development programmes in various areas related to Supply-Chain Management. Today, Alexander is involved in various workshops, seminars, presentations in Supply-Chain, Logistics and Transport Management in 20 different European Countries, North Africa, Gulf Region and South East Asia. He is entrusted by various public and private organizations with different consultancy projects and assignments.
